The Monashee has a number of Provincial Parks and Ecological Reserves explore four Bioreserves identified by Bearfoot Canada as recreation areas that are ideal for nature-based travel. Keep in mind, that if your choose to explore the backcountry, be cautious and be well equipped, these mountains are remote and are rich in wildlife including Grizzly Bear Habitat.
